About Woods-Ray Theatricals Inc.
Woods-Ray Theatricals Inc. is a community musical theatre organisation in the Illawarra, one hour south of Sydney.
Woods-Ray was founded in 2015 by Liam Woods, to create a new platform for budding creatives and performers to get involved in community theatre.
In 2024, Woods-Ray Theatricals is now a thriving part of the region's musical theatre scene, engaging over 100 local theatre makers every year. Woods-Ray presents three shows each year, all catering for different age ranges and audiences. Woods-Ray Theatricals prides itself on providing fresh and exciting opportunities for our members, and a safe and inclusive environment to prepare these works.
Woods-Ray Theatricals is led by a management committee, and hand-picked creative team members - ensuring each production process is productive, professional and results in a quality production for our local audiences.
Since 2015, Woods-Ray Theatricals has presented over 20 shows in the Illawarra. Our previous work includes Disney's Frozen Jr, Shrek The Musical, Carrie, The Addams Family, Bare: A Pop Opera, Disney's Newsies Jr, The Producers and many more!
